2013 Oscars Best Dressed

Best Dressed:  Jennifer Lawrence

Even though she took a tumble on the way to accepting her award, Jennifer Lawrence looked amazing at the Oscars Sunday night.  Not only did she win Best Actress for her performance in Silver Linings Playbook, she also wins our award for best dressed.  In pale pink Dior Jennifer looked every bit the toast of Tinseltown.  The blush pink hue of the dress enhanced her fair complexion beautifully.  And with her hair swept up, there was nothing to distract from her gorgeous face.  We also love that she put a fresh twist on her jewelry by wearing her 74 carats of Chopard diamonds backwards.  It was unexpected and the diamonds flowed backwards in a way that was reminiscent of a princess’ cape.  Sheer perfection.

First Runner Up: Catherine Zeta Jones

Catherine Zeta Jones dazzled in a gold Zuhair Murad stunner at the 2013 Oscars.  The designer is also a favorite of other A-list actresses Blake Lively and Sofia Vergara.  Zuhair  never disappoints with his intricate detailing and eye for creating a feminine shape.  His gowns are the  go to for a woman who wants to make an entrance..and hold your attention.  And Catherine Zeta Jones surely accomplished both in her gilded gown.

Second Runner Up: Charlize Theron

As far as we’re concerned, Charlize Theron can do no wrong.  She always looks elegant, and was true to form as she debuted a sleek new ‘do at the Oscars.  Charlize went for a minimalist look with her short crop and crisp white Dior Haute Couture gown.  The sharp lines enhanced her statuesque figure, and her short hair played up her delicate features.
